We’re excited to present our Annual HHF Munk Lecture “GreekLanguage.ca: A Portal to the Future for Greek and Other Community Languages in Canada?” on Thursday, March 12 at 5:30 p.m., which will feature the launch of the website Greek Language in Canada. This website was created by Dr. Themistoklis Aravossitas, lecturer Modern Greek language and culture at the University of Toronto and York University, with the support of U of T, the Munk School and the HHF.
GREEKLANGUAGE.CA is an online portal built to support Greek language education across Canada, designed to meet the needs of students, Greek-language educators, parents and Hellenic community members looking for ways to connect to their culture.
We invite you to attend this year’s lecture to learn more about this invaluable resource for Greek-Canadians and to meet members of the Hellenic Studies Program at U of T at our reception afterwards.
