The Hellenic Heritage Foundation has supported a number of important cultural initiatives since its inception.
Through our philanthropic efforts we seek to enrich the unique social and cultural fabric of Canada by pursuing and investing in projects which allow for Hellenic culture and heritage to be shared with the broader Canadian community.
The Foundation has provided funding towards the endowment of the Hellenic Heritage Foundation Chair in Hellenic Studies and Modern Greek History at York University and the Greek Canadian History Project (GCHP).
The GCHP is designed to identify, acquire, digitize, preserve, and provide access to materials that reflect the experiences of Canada’s Greek immigrants and their descendants. HHF has also funded the endowment of a Hellenic Studies Program at the University of Toronto.
Beyond education, the HHF’s philanthropy has extended to the Greek Community of Toronto where more than $1 million dollars has been donated to support its cultural and educational activities.
