With over 600 + in attendance, the evening was extremely successful. Acting as Masters of Ceremonies were HHF Director – Effie Triantafilopoulos, and former Ambassador of Canada to Greece – Mr. Robert William Peck.

Mr. John Dagonas, was recognized with a special tribute for his outstanding leadership as President of the Hellenic Heritage Foundation, over the last two years. The Guest Speaker for the evening was Undergraduate student, Ms. Taiyan Liu, who inspired everyone in attendance with her speech which was presented in both English and Greek – expressing her gratitude to the HHF for making it possible for her to study Greek language at the post secondary level at the University of Toronto. Taiyan, whose parents are of Greek and Chinese descent, took part in the Greek Language course offered by the HHF through the University.
