The Hellenic Heritage Foundation Annual Golf Classic is one of our main fundraising events, generating over 1.5 million dollars over the past 21 years.  This event could not be the wonderful success it always is without the generous and loyal support of our Directors, Members and golfers who dedicate their time in support of this effort.  The 21st Annual Tournament was no exception and is a testament to how much can be achieved when people come together.

With approximately 150 golfers in attendance we were able to raise close to $95,000 in net funds which will go towards supporting the HHF Apollo Project.  This ambitious initiative – whose cornerstone has been the establishment of a permanent Hellenic Studies program at the University of Toronto will now concentrate on a plan to significantly enhance Greek School Education for our children at the primary levels.

To date this year, we have successfully raised over $2.2 million in support of the Foundation’s prime objective – to preserve and promote Hellenic language, heritage and culture within Canada.
