The Hellenic Heritage Foundation launched the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012. Since its inception, we proudly honoured Supreme Court Justice Andromache Karakatsanis, the late Dr. Dimitrios Oreopoulos, philanthropist and Blackberry founder Mike Lazaridis, and composer Christos Hatzis.

In celebration of the Hellenic Heritage Foundation's remarkable achievements and 20th anniversary, the Foundation is pleased to shine a light on distinguished Canadians of Greek descent or Philhellenes who have made an outstanding contribution to Canadian society and to our Greek-Canadian community.

In celebration of the HHF's 20th anniversary, we are expanding the Awards to shine a wider spotlight on distinguished Canadians of Greek descent or Philhellenes who have made an outstanding contribution to Canadian society and to our Greek-Canadian community. In 2016, the HHF will honour recipients for three Awards: the Lifetime Achievement Award, Outstanding Achievement under 40 Years of Age, and Excellence in Philanthropy and Community Involvement. Your nominations will assist the HHF in identifying and celebrating the achievements in our Hellenic-Canadian community. Confidential nominations can be submitted online now.
